Please join us on Saturday June 28th @ 6:30 pm at North Burial Grounds at the Armenian Martyrs Monument in Providence where we will have service followed by the lighting of the Eternal Flame. Then we will be marching to the State House (approx. 1.5 miles) where we will have speeches and display the Eternal Flame. The torch will also be one of the flames that will light the Waterfire being held that night, which is widely attended by all Providence citizens (http://waterfire.org/).
The Eternal Flame is an initiative organized by the AYF-YOARF Eastern Region.
The Eternal Flame symbolizes an everlasting faith, an everlasting will, and an everlasting nation. A faith to prosper after our hardships and a will to continuously strive for the common cause of recognition, restoration, and reparation of the injustices of the Armenian Genocide.
