AYF-YOARF Mourns Boston Marathon Tragedy

The AYF-YOARF Eastern Region mourns the lives lost in the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2013.

To date, three people, including one child, have been killed by two bombs exploding at the finish line of the race. More than 130 others – runners and spectators – were injured. Runners and their families and friends from all over the world were in the city for the Marathon and are forever changed from this senseless act of violence.

The AYF-YOARF sends our thoughts and prayers to the victims and families of the bombings. We hope all of our AYF members and their families and friends are safe. This is a tragedy that touches all lives and all worlds, not just those in New England.

In solidarity, we remember and mourn this day.
