The forced displacement of Artsakh’s indigenous Armenian population has not altered our conviction that Artsakh remains an inseparable part of our homeland, nor has it diminished our responsibility to its people. As the Armenian people continue working toward a just and lasting future for Artsakh, we must also ensure that today’s generation of Artsakhtsi youth has the opportunity to pursue their educational aspirations and prepare to lead the future of our nation.
Education has long been one of the Armenian people’s greatest sources of strength. It preserves our identity, strengthens our communities, and equips each generation with the knowledge and skills to build a stronger future. Today, investing in the education of Artsakhtsi youth is one of the most meaningful ways we can honor our commitment to Artsakh and its people.
Building upon our region’s previous efforts to provide tuition assistance to displaced Artsakh Armenian students, the AYF-YOARF Nigol Tuman Scholarship for Artsakhtsi College Students represents the next chapter in that commitment. Named in honor of Artsakh-born fedayi Nigol Tuman, whose life was defined by selfless service and unwavering devotion to the Armenian nation, this scholarship carries his legacy forward by investing in the next generation of Artsakhtsi youth.
Applications are currently being distributed throughout Armenia to eligible Artsakhtsi college students residing in Armenia. Scholarships will be awarded as funding allows, ensuring that every contribution made to this campaign directly expands the number of students we are able to support.
